Vietnam pork prices fluctuate with increases in the North
Pork prices in Vietnam showed varying trends on August 24, 2026, with significant activity in the northern region. In Northern Vietnam, prices saw an upward adjustment of 1,000 VND/kg in several locations, with prices ranging between 58,000 and 59,000 VND/kg. This region currently maintains the highest market prices in the country.
In Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, the market remained largely stable. Prices fluctuated between 56,000 and 58,000 VND/kg, with most provinces maintaining their previous levels, though Lam Dong recorded a slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg. Khanh Hoa remains the location with the lowest price in this region at 56,000 VND/kg.
Southern Vietnam also experienced slight increases in certain areas, such as Dong Thap and Ca Mau, where prices rose by 1,000 VND/kg to reach 57,000 VND/kg. Prices in the South generally range from 57,000 to 58,000 VND/kg, with Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Vinh Long at the higher end of the spectrum.
