Meliá ME Marbella Banús installs high-efficiency solar system

The Meliá ME Marbella Banús hotel in Andalusia has implemented a photovoltaic system using Aiko ABC modules to meet high daytime energy demands while maintaining architectural aesthetics. The installation, managed by SotySolar, utilizes 192 modules with a total capacity of 116.16 kWp.

The Aiko ABC technology was selected for its ability to handle extreme heat and high irradiation levels common in the region. The modules feature a low temperature coefficient to reduce thermal losses and lack metallic contacts on the front surface, allowing them to integrate seamlessly into the luxury hotel's design. Additionally, the technology helps minimize production losses caused by partial shading and mismatch issues.
