Melinda French Gates Says She Recognized Jeffrey Epstein as Evil, Calls for Justice System Reform

Melinda French Gates told The Guardian that she knew Jeffrey Epstein was “evil” from the moment she met him, describing the convicted sex offender as repugnant enough to cause her nightmares. She urged women to trust their instincts when confronted with dangerous individuals and criticized the justice system for failing to stop Epstein, saying “the justice system didn’t do its job, full stop.”

Her remarks came as her former husband, Bill Gates, appeared before the U.S. House Oversight Committee to discuss the recently released Epstein files. Bill Gates acknowledged that Epstein had leveraged knowledge of his extramarital affairs to pressure him, and he said the investigation into those files is ongoing. The Gates divorce in 2021 was reportedly partly fueled by revelations about the couple’s connection to Epstein.
