Mendoza hosts 2026 cooperative business events and young entrepreneur award

The Federación de Mujeres Empresarias (FEM) announced that applications for the Premio Joven Empresario Mendocino 2026 will close on 10 August. The award targets emerging entrepreneurs in Mendoza and aims to recognize innovative business initiatives.

Separately, the Ministry of Production is organizing Mendoza Coopera 2026, a cooperative‑sector summit on 6 August at the Nave Cultural in the city of Mendoza. Directed by Andrea Nallim, the event will provide training and networking opportunities, featuring sessions on compliance, the knowledge economy, leadership, youth, and open government. Speakers will include representatives from the Basque Government and a presentation of the Mondragón cooperative model, highlighting successful industrial cooperatives.

Both initiatives seek to strengthen and promote the cooperative economy in Mendoza, offering a platform for businesses, institutions, and other stakeholders to exchange expertise and explore new commercial opportunities.
