Mendoza launches Youth Climate Action Fund with up to $7.15 million in grants
The city of Mendoza announced the second edition of its Youth and Climate Action Fund, a program designed to support environmental projects proposed by young people aged 15 to 24. The initiative, run with Bloomberg Philanthropies, aims to fund innovative ideas that address climate change mitigation and adaptation, natural‑resource protection, circular economy, and environmental education.
Applicants can submit proposals between 20 July and 21 August. Selected projects may receive financing of up to $7.150 million. The municipality will also hold a co‑creation workshop to help participants develop and refine their projects before official submission.
