Mendoza Province allocates 148 million pesos to local municipalities

The Mendoza Ministry of Finance announced the transfer of 148,473,117 pesos to the province’s municipalities for the April 2026 settlement. The funds are split between the Extraordinary Production Canon (121,858,172.85 pesos) and the Extraordinary Rent Canon (26,614,944.21 pesos), both derived from hydrocarbon activity revenues. Distributed as non‑reimbursable grants, the money is allocated according to the province’s secondary coparticipation coefficient, representing 12 % of the state’s receipts from these sources.
