Mendoza Sur Solar Park project enters public hearing phase

A public hearing was held for the Mendoza Sur Solar Park, a project by Genneia SA that is set to become the largest photovoltaic development in both Mendoza and Argentina. The project aims for an installed capacity of 404 MW.

Located in the San Rafael department, approximately 2.5 kilometers north of Villa 25 de Mayo, the complex will cover 1,130 hectares. The infrastructure plan includes the installation of 919,072 bifacial solar modules, 1,492 inverters, 52 transformation centers, and 16,412 solar trackers. Once completed, this development will help the province of Mendoza exceed 1,000 MW of installed solar capacity by 2030.
