Alejandro Donati, head of the Mendoza Tax Administration (ATM), presented the 2027 Tax and Valuation Law initiatives to the provincial Legislature's Finance and Budget Commission. The proposal includes plans to reduce the tax burden, specifically regarding the Stamp Tax, and introduces new criteria for determining motor vehicle and real estate taxes.

To resolve previous controversies regarding vehicle tax calculations, ATM will adopt a single, comprehensive valuation source rather than combining multiple lists. The administration will select either the records from the Association of Dealerships of the Argentine Republic (ACARA) or the National Directorate of Motor Vehicle Registries (DNRPA), choosing the one that provides the most extensive data and covers a 20-year period.

Donati also reported that ATM is on track to meet or exceed the revenue targets set in the 2026 budget. He highlighted the agency's technological advancements, including the use of Oracle databases and the implementation of the Real Estate Value Observatory to provide geographic and statistical data on land and property values.
