Menofia Governor Inaugurates Comprehensive Health‑Insurance Medical Complex in Ashmun

Governor Amr Al‑Gharib of Egypt’s Menofia Governorate opened a new comprehensive medical complex in the town of Ashmun. The facility, formerly the local unit building in Centris, has been transferred to the Health Insurance Authority in coordination with the Ministry of Health.

The complex houses multi‑specialty clinics, including dentistry, physiotherapy, pharmacy and other services, aimed at streamlining care for patients covered by the health‑insurance scheme. During the opening, the governor inspected the premises, pledged to address citizen complaints promptly, ordered a detailed report on physician attendance, and arranged immediate surgical intervention for an urgent case in partnership with the university hospital. He also outlined plans to add more sites to reduce overcrowding and improve service quality across the governorate.
