Governor Amr Al‑Gharib of Menofia Leads Medical Caravan and Investment Projects
Governor Amr Al‑Gharib of Egypt’s Menofia governorate inspected a free multi‑specialty medical caravan in Taha Shubra, coordinated with the Supreme Medical Committee of the cabinet and the Bank Al‑Shifa. The four‑day outreach provided examinations, treatments, lab tests, glasses and referrals for surgery, aiming to expand health coverage in underserved villages.
In a separate meeting, Governor Al‑Gharib urged rapid implementation of the 2026/2027 investment plan, calling for parallel administrative processing to speed project completion. Priority projects include the Baghour crossing and a new events hall in the eastern district, with ongoing monitoring of roads, lighting, local administration and school‑building initiatives.
Cairo Governor Dr Ibrahim Saber ordered intensified campaigns to clear street encroachments and illegal vendors, working with the Facilities Police across districts such as Dar Al‑Salam and Al‑Madi. The actions restored traffic flow, improved the capital’s urban appearance and included daily follow‑up to prevent re‑occurrence.
Menofia Governor also distributed emergency cash and in‑kind aid to families and persons with disabilities in Ashmun and Betanon, arranged health‑unit construction on donated land, and initiated road and school projects to address local needs.
Kafr El‑Sheikh Governor Ibrahim Maki inspected the Masir technology centre, stressing swift processing of regularisation, land‑use permits and commercial licences, and pledged continued staff training to enhance citizen services.
