Ömer İne admits to providing 250 paid extras for CHP event

Ömer İne, owner of MERS Agency, has issued new statements regarding the controversy surrounding a Republican People's Party (CHP) member participation ceremony held on July 25 in Istanbul.

Inne admitted that his previous claims on CNN Türk—where he stated that extras were provided voluntarily—were false. He alleges that Samet Özkaş instructed him to make those claims under the promise that payments would be processed afterward.

According to Ine, the agency provided at least 250 extras for the event, some of whom were redirected from a canceled television production. He claims that despite these services, the CHP has failed to pay the agency or two other involved agencies, leaving him personally indebted to the workers.
