Merab Dvalishvili analyzes rematch loss ahead of UFC 333 trilogy

Merab Dvalishvili has analyzed his previous loss to Petr Yan ahead of their scheduled trilogy fight at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on October 24. Dvalishvili noted that during their last encounter in December, he was surprised by Yan's strength and ability to defend takedowns, which prevented him from controlling the fight as he had in their first meeting.

Dvalishvili expressed disappointment that his team and supporters underestimated Yan, suggesting that the lack of respect for Yan's abilities contributed to his mindset during the rematch. He intends to use these lessons to prepare for their upcoming championship co-main event.
