Meram Municipality develops Havzan Park in Konya

Meram Municipality is developing Havzan Park, a 15,000-square-meter social and green space located at the intersection of Gazze, Şehir, and Eski Yol streets in Konya. The project aims to transform a previously underutilized area into a modern living space.

The park will feature various amenities, including children's playgrounds, fitness areas, basketball and table tennis courts, a 600-meter walking track, and parking facilities. A coffee-concept venue called Haki Kafe will also be included. To date, 830 trees and over 2,000 shrubs and plants have been planted to create a forest-like environment.

Mayor Mustafa Kavuş noted that the project is designed to complement the Konya Metropolitan Municipality’s upcoming large-scale park project in the nearby “Ağır Bakım” area, which will feature large ponds and dining facilities.
