Merano WineFestival announces 2026 Asia tour in Tokyo and Bangkok

The Merano WineFestival is expanding its international presence through the ‘The WineHunter Asia Tour 2026’. This initiative aims to bridge Italian enological culture with emerging markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

The tour will feature two primary events. From November 4 to 7, the first edition of the Merano WineFestival Japan will take place in Tokyo. The program includes an institutional Gala Dinner at the Italian Embassy, a ‘one venue, one winery’ fine dining circuit, a B2B technical masterclass for producers and importers, and a strategic symposium titled ‘Merano Rencontres’ focused on the future of wine exports to Asia.

Following the Japanese leg, the tour will move to Thailand on November 30 for the ‘Bangkok & Wine – Piazza Italiana’ event. Held at The Crystal Box, this event is designed for high-level operators in the gastronomy and luxury sectors to explore the value of Italian viticultural heritage.
