Mercado Bitcoin and Sui announce partnership for asset access in Brazil

Mercado Bitcoin and the Sui Foundation have announced a partnership to expand access to SUI and stablecoins in Brazil. The collaboration includes the integration of SUI, USDC, and USDsui, supporting purchases, sales, and transfers on the Sui network.

Under the roadmap, USDsui will be eligible as collateral for Mercado Bitcoin’s lending products. The companies also intend to bring tokenized real-world assets to the Sui blockchain and are exploring a potential connection with Hashi, Sui’s Bitcoin orchestration layer.

Separately, technical analysis and AI-driven projections have discussed SUI’s market potential. Anthropic’s Claude AI outlined a hypothetical scenario where widespread adoption by gaming studios and AI developers could drive significant transaction volume on Sui’s architecture by 2027. Current market data shows SUI consolidating between $0.88 and $0.91, with technical analysts watching for a breakout above $1.20 to confirm intermediate strength.
