Overview

Mercado Bitcoin, a major Latin American cryptocurrency exchange, has integrated the Sui network to support its Brazilian client base. This integration enables approximately 4.5 million users to trade, send, and receive SUI tokens, USDC, and USDsui.

Through a partnership with the Sui Foundation and Mysten Labs, USDsui can be used as collateral for lending products on the platform. The collaboration includes plans to introduce tokenized real-world assets to the Sui blockchain and explore connections with Sui’s Bitcoin orchestration layer, Hashi.
