Mercedes-Benz Japan launches new Maybach S-Class and limited CLA Shooting Brake

Mercedes-Benz Japan has announced significant updates to its luxury lineup, including the launch of the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and a limited edition CLA Shooting Brake.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class features extensive redesigns, with approximately 2,700 parts newly developed or redesigned. The model includes the proprietary MB. OS and fourth-generation MBUX system, which utilizes generative AI and Google Maps-based navigation. Powertrain options include a V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine for the S 680 and a V8 4.0-liter engine for the S 580. The vehicle also introduces the ‘MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure’ personalization program.

Additionally, a limited edition of the CLA 180 Shooting Brake has been released, with only 200 units available. This launch edition features AMG Line Plus and Night Package styling, 19-inch AMG alloy wheels with gold accents, and the MBUX Superscreen as standard. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine paired with a 48V hybrid system.
