Mercedes-Benz Türk expands production and strategic role in Turkey
Mercedes-Benz Türk has significantly strengthened its position within the Daimler Truck AG global network through its Aksaray truck factory. Over 40 years, the facility has seen approximately 2 billion euros in investment and has reached a production capacity capable of manufacturing 100,000 trucks every four years. To date, the factory has produced over 415,000 trucks, with more than 135,000 exported globally. Currently, seven out of every ten trucks produced or exported in Turkey originate from the Aksaray plant.
The Aksaray R&D Center, established in 2018, serves as the sole center within Daimler Truck AG authorized to approve road tests for trucks. Since 2023, this center has also managed long-distance testing processes for electric vehicles.
Additionally, Mercedes-Benz Türk recently held strategic meetings in Cyprus with truck dealers and TruckStore agents. These sessions focused on market dynamics, customer satisfaction, and setting objectives for the final quarter of 2026 and the year 2027.
