Pomozi. ba launches appeal for Merjem's medical surgery

The association Pomozi. ba has launched a humanitarian appeal to fund medical treatment for 22-year-old Merjem Mandžuka from Željeznog Polja. Since 2016, Mandžuka has been battling Crohn's disease, which has led to the development of a fistula between her bladder and small intestine.

Mandžuka suffers from severe pain and blood in her urine and stool. Despite receiving treatment in Zenica, the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), and Rijeka, no success has been achieved. Due to her condition, she is unable to work, and her family relies on her father's minimum pension.

The goal is to raise 41,268 KM to fund a surgery in Istanbul that could provide significant relief and improve her quality of life. Donations can be made via the humanitarian number 17040 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or through various bank accounts and PayPal provided by the association.
