Mersin Cinema Office Featured in EUFCN International Showcase

The Mersin Cinema Office (MSO), part of the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality’s Culture, Art and Social Affairs Department, has been added to the European Film Commission Network’s (EUFCN) digital showcase titled “World’s Natural Shooting Locations.” MSO is the only Turkish film office that is a member of EUFCN, which brings together more than 100 film commissions from 33 countries.

The showcase highlights the historic Tarsus Houses in Mersin as unique locations for cinema and series productions, aiming to connect international producers with the site and raise the city’s profile as a film‑tourism destination. MSO director Başar Akça said the inclusion is an important step for promoting Mersin’s natural, historic and cultural sites and for positioning the city as a preferred production hub.
