Mersin launches integrated road construction headquarters

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality inaugurated a new headquarters for its Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Directorate in the Çay neighbourhood. The complex combines a 2,000‑square‑metre administrative building with a 2,100‑square‑metre garage for heavy machinery, an on‑site asphalt plant, a Quality Control laboratory and an Asphalt Plant facility, bringing all technical units under one roof.

Mayor Vahap Seçer and officials from the Union of Turkish Municipalities inspected the site, noting that the "single roof, single centre, full efficiency" concept will streamline planning, coordination and field management, improve safety standards, and allow citizens to access services through a single point of contact.
