Mesagne man charged after unauthorized birthday fireworks display

A 30-year-old man has been reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Brindisi following an unauthorized fireworks display in the historic center of Mesagne. The incident occurred during the night between August 28 and August 29, amidst local nightlife celebrations for the individual's birthday.

Following citizen reports, the Brindisi Police Commissioner ordered an investigation conducted by the Mesagne police station. Authorities identified the man, who is facing charges for dangerous ignition and explosions in a public place without the required license. The charges include an aggravating factor due to the large number of people present in the immediate vicinity during the explosions.
