Messe Frankfurt announces new textile trade events in New York and Vietnam

Messe Frankfurt is expanding its international textile event network with the launch of Prefab, a new boutique sourcing event for premium fabrics. Scheduled for January 19-20, 2027, at the Altman Building in New York, the event is being developed in collaboration with Supima. It will feature approximately 40 selected exhibitors, all of whom are Supima-associated manufacturers, targeting senior designers and procurement professionals in the luxury and premium segments.

In Southeast Asia, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) will return to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City from February 24-26, 2027. As Vietnam's textile industry seeks to shift from volume-driven growth to value creation and supply chain transparency, VIATT serves as a comprehensive platform covering the full value chain, including raw materials, fabrics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
