International textile trade event developments

Overview

The textile industry is seeing a series of international trade events focused on premium sourcing and collection finalization.

In Germany, the VIeW textile event is scheduled for September 2026 in Munich. This event, which unifies the previously separate reVIEW and preVIEW formats under the Munich Fabric Start brand, will showcase approximately 70 premium collections for the Autumn/Winter 27/28 season under the theme ‘Taste’.

Looking toward 2027, Messe Frankfurt is expanding its network with two major initiatives. In New York, the new boutique sourcing event Prefab will launch in January 2027 in collaboration with Supima, targeting the luxury segment. Additionally, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) will return to Ho Chi Minh City in February 2027, supporting Vietnam’s industry shift toward value creation and supply chain transparency.
