Messina hosts 18th Crociera della Musica cultural exchange

The 18th edition of the 'Crociera della Musica, Arte e Cultura Napoletana' arrived in Messina, facilitating a cultural exchange between Neapolitan and Sicilian traditions. The event, organized by Francesco Spinosa and Scoop Travel Service aboard the MSC World Europa, was hosted at the Palazzo dei Leoni.

Messina's Culture Councilor Vincenzo Caruso, representing Mayor Federico Basile, received the delegation to promote mutual knowledge of the cultural identities of Southern Italy. The musical program featured Neapolitan artists such as Ebbanesis, Viviana Cangiano, Serena Pisa, Gianni Conte, Diego Sanchez, Alessia Moio, I Napulantica, and Napoli Reale.

In response, Sicilian folk groups including I Cariddi, La Madonnina, Mata e Grifone, Insieme Siciliano, Cantustrittu, and Tarantamé performed traditional music, turning the institutional meeting into a celebration of dance and song.
