Met Office forecasts continued dry spell and limited rain in UK
The Met Office warned that the south‑west of England will see only a small chance of rain on July 15, with brief showers possible in southern Cornwall and Devon and a 20‑30% likelihood of isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 30 °C, with dry conditions persisting across Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire and a largely dry weekend forecast.
In the Midlands, the Met Office said Coventry and Warwickshire are unlikely to receive rain this week, with a yellow health alert remaining in place until July 17. Sunny, warm weather with highs around 30 °C is forecast, and dry, settled conditions are expected through the weekend before a potential increase in showers later in July.
