Regional assemblies approve infrastructure and social development funding

Various regional legislative bodies in Latin America are advancing local development and infrastructure projects.

In Colombia, the Guaviare Departmental Assembly approved 3.6 billion pesos to complete the Universidad de la Amazonia campus in San José del Guaviare. In Atlántico, the Assembly is reviewing tax relief measures and long-term territorial planning. The Meta Assembly has authorized future funding for solar panel installation, electrification, and educational infrastructure, while the Magdalena Assembly approved the sale of unused assets to fund a university campus in Fundación.

In Argentina, the Deliberative Council of Colón is addressing road maintenance and social programs, and officials in Carlos Casares are coordinating municipal development projects. In Bolivia, the Montero Municipal Council is preparing a special session to honor the city's 172nd anniversary.
