Metallica has announced an extension of their ‘M72’ World Tour, adding a new run of North American stadium dates for 2027. The tour leg will feature 12 concerts across the United States and Canada, utilizing the band’s signature ‘in the round’ stadium production.

Limp Bizkit and Avatar are scheduled to join Metallica as opening acts for this stretch. The tour is set to begin on May 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will visit cities including San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and Cleveland.

Ticket presales for fan club members began on September 21, with additional opportunities for Citi Cardmembers, Verizon customers, and Spotify users scheduled throughout the week. The general public sale is set to commence on September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
