Metallica has announced an extension of their ‘M72’ World Tour, consisting of 12 North American stadium dates scheduled for 2027. The tour leg will include stops in Canada and the United States, beginning on May 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and concluding on June 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The production will utilize the band’s signature ‘in the round’ stage setup. Limp Bizkit and Avatar are slated to perform as supporting acts. This stadium run follows a planned residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which is expected to run from October 2026 through March 2027.
