Metro Line 1 in Ho Chi Minh City disrupted by power outage
The Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line (Metro Line 1) in Ho Chi Minh City experienced a service disruption on the morning of October 17 due to a power failure at the 220kV Thu Duc substation.
According to Lê Minh Triết, Director of HURC1, the outage began at 7:04 AM and affected 14 train trips. The technical incident at the substation caused power interruptions across several areas in Thu Duc, impacting both the metro system and local residents and businesses.
