Metropolis of Kastoria completes summer youth camps

The Orthodox Metropolis of Kastoria successfully concluded its summer camp program for children and youth during the 2023 summer season. The camps, a long‑standing tradition of the local church, offered spiritual formation, recreation, creative activities and communal bonding under the blessing of Metropolitan Kallinikos.

Four camp sessions were led by priests Pavlos Lazogkas, Pantaleimon Dones, Leonida Bardo, Georgios Andreae and Paschalis Tsagkopoulos. Overall coordination was handled by priest Stephanos Schoinas and General Archiepiscopal Commissioner Eleftherios Sitilidis. The central theme was the slogan “Κράτει ὃ ἔχεις” (“Keep what you have”), with a curriculum that included study of local saints, newly‑canonized saints, women saints, teachers of the Macedonian Struggle and notable historical figures from Kastoria. Metropolitan Kallinikos addressed the participants, citing Revelation 3:11.
