MEVGAL targets export growth with yogurt and feta strategy for 2026
MEVGAL recorded a 2025 turnover of €206.66 million, a 5.65% increase from the previous year, while EBITDA remained stable at €20.3 million and pre‑tax profit at €10.26 million. Domestic sales rose 2.71% in value, and exports surged 15.48%, driven by strong demand for Greek yogurt and feta.
The company’s 2026 plan focuses on expanding its international presence through a new yogurt production facility classified as a strategic investment under Greece’s Recovery and Resilience Fund. A loan agreement was signed in May 2026 to finance the project, aiming to deepen export channels, enhance product innovation, and sustain growth despite inflation, high energy costs, and raw‑material price volatility.
