Mewgenics announces console release and multi-language support
Mewgenics, a tactical roguelike SRPG developed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel, is receiving a significant update including official support for Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
The developers announced that the console version of the game is scheduled for release on September 8. This launch will include support for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The console versions will feature Steam account cross-linking, allowing players to sync cloud save data between PC and consoles. Hardware-specific features, such as the DualSense touchpad on PS5 and Joy-Con 2 controls on Nintendo Switch 2, will also be supported.
Looking ahead, the development team has confirmed that work has begun on the first paid DLC. Additionally, a small free update featuring new playstyles and unlockable items is currently in preparation, with more details expected later this year.
