Mewgenics to launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 in September

The tactical strategy RPG Mewgenics is scheduled to launch on home consoles on September 8, 2026. Announced during the gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live stream by Geoff Keighley, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed by the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh, the game is currently available on PC via Steam. In Mewgenics, players breed mutant cats to pass on specific traits and mutations, sending them into turn-based tactical combat. The console versions will be released as digital downloads for $39.99.
