Mexican authorities locate two missing teens while another adolescent remains missing

State security forces in Huejotzingo, Puebla, coordinated with the navy and the state prosecutor to locate two teenage girls who had been reported missing after leaving school. Using video surveillance and tracking of the motor‑taxi they rode, the girls were found safe in the Central de Autobuses de Puebla (CAPU) and returned to their families.

Separately, prosecutors in Veracruz and Oaxaca have opened investigations into the disappearance of 16‑year‑old Zahira Yvette Osorio Villegas, last seen in Fortín de las Flores. Authorities are gathering testimony about alleged family violence and have issued a search warrant for the area of La Defensa in Acatlán de Pérez Figueroa. The case remains active and officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
