Mexican authorities arrest Gulf Cartel operator and seize 500,000 liters of fuel

Mexican federal authorities conducted a major operation across Chihuahua, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas, resulting in the arrest of Jesús Manuel ‘N’, alias ‘Bebo’. Identified as a financial operator for the ‘Metros’ faction of the Gulf Cartel, his arrest follows a series of 19 search warrants. The operation successfully seized approximately 500,000 liters of fuel, 13 properties, two aircraft, 50 vehicles, and 107 tank trailers, targeting a network involved in illegal hydrocarbon smuggling.

In a separate series of operations in Sinaloa, including Mazatlán, federal forces arrested members of the Sinaloa Cartel’s Los Chapitos and La Mayiza factions. These actions led to the detention of 21 individuals and the seizure of various weapons, explosives, and narcotics.

In the Dominican Republic, two citizens, Rafael Hidalgo García and Domingo Rivera Trinidad, were extradited to the United States. They face charges of conspiring to distribute a cocaine mixture to the U.S. market.
