Mexican authorities seize illegal diesel tanker and crack down on transit vehicle violations

Federal prosecutors in Mexico seized a 43,000‑liter fuel tanker and related equipment on the Saltillo‑Torreón highway after an intelligence operation uncovered pipelines tied to illegal diesel extraction. The haul included a truck, two pickups, a Ford F‑150 and Ranger, and fueling hoses, all taken into custodial custody for investigation.

Separately, municipal security officials in Reynosa conducted a vehicle‑inspection operation outside the local public security office, towing several transit agency cars that lacked proper plates or documentation. The action, described as a zero‑tolerance measure, aims to ensure that public‑service drivers comply with licensing and vehicle‑registration rules.
