Mexican federal forces seize drugs in raids in Yucatán and Durango
A joint federal operation in the Campestre Flamboyanes subdivision of Progreso, Yucatán, involving the Navy, National Guard and the Federal Prosecutor's Office detained two people, seized a short‑firearm, 17 cartridges, cash, a scale and 1,587 doses of various narcotics.
In a separate operation, the Mexican Army dismantled a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in the mountain area of Ejido Acatitlán, Tamazula, Durango. Authorities confiscated 1,350 liters of liquid chemical precursors and 150 kg of solid chemicals, estimating a loss of about 29 million pesos to organized crime. No arrests were reported in the Durango raid.
