Mexican judicial institutions participate in Monterrey International Book Fair

The Judiciary of the State of Nuevo León (PJENL) and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) are participating in the 34th Monterrey International Book Fair (FIL) to promote legal culture and citizen rights.

The PJENL has returned to the fair for a second consecutive year, featuring a program of book presentations, lectures, and radio programs. President of the PJENL, Magistrate Laura Perla Córdova Rodríguez, stated that the initiative aims to bring the judiciary closer to the community so citizens can better understand institutional functions and available services.

Simultaneously, the SCJN is presenting a catalog of over 500 publications designed to break down linguistic barriers. The Supreme Court's goal is to replace specialized technical jargon with simple, understandable language, covering topics such as human rights, criminal justice, equality, and inclusion to facilitate easier access to legal knowledge for the general public.
