Mexican Mayors Launch Veterinary Initiatives in Culiacán, Cuautitlán

In Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mayor Ana Miriam Ramos presented the NAFIN distinction to Veterinaria Mascota Palacio, a five‑year‑old clinic that employs 24 people. The program awarded the business a credit of 1.2 million pesos to support its continued growth and professionalization.

In the State of Mexico, Mayor Juanita Carrillo Luna announced that Cuautitlán will open its first municipal veterinary hospital on 27 July. The facility, built with an initial investment of 17 million pesos, will provide modern, third‑generation services to stray and owned animals in line with recent state legislation on animal welfare.
