Mexican municipal leaders announce health donation and mayoral candidacy

Mayor Alberto “El Capy” Rivera of Angostura, Mexico, delivered a new ambulance to the local Cruz Roja delegation and donated 100,000 pesos to support emergency services and public health in the municipality. The initiative aims to improve response times and overall pre‑hospital care for residents.

Anselmo Conejo registered his candidacy for the mayor’s office of Salamanca, Guanajuato, with the National Action Party (PAN). He pledged to address security concerns, infrastructure deficiencies and public services, citing rural road conditions, drainage and urban paving as priority issues ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.
