Mexican municipalities inaugurate new water wells in Puebla and State of Mexico

In Atexcal, Puebla, municipal president Rigoberto González Mendiola handed over equipment for a deep potable‑water well serving the Agua El Gabriel community, citing the project's importance for improving access to the vital resource after years of shortages.

In the State of Mexico’s San Juan Tepecoculco, mayor Lucas Torres Rosales oversaw the start of drilling for a new water well, a project described by residents as a historic step toward ending long‑standing water scarcity. The well is expected to supply drinking water to hundreds of families and strengthen the local supply for human consumption.
