Mexican officials hail school graduations in Zacatecas and Campeche

Vero Díaz, the state secretary of education in Zacatecas, served as godmother for the 2023‑2026 graduating class of the Colegio de Bachilleres Plantel Florencia de Benito Juárez. She emphasized that education is the main tool for personal and regional transformation and highlighted the universal Benito Juárez scholarship, now a constitutional right, noting that the state allocated roughly 500,000 pesos in scholarships and an additional 600,000 pesos for facility upgrades.

In Pomuch, Campeche, Mayor Biby Karen Rabelo de la Torre acted as godmother for the 2025‑2026 primary graduating class of the Escuela Primaria Benito Pablo Juárez García. She presented certificates to 17 sixth‑grade students, praised their effort, and urged parents to stay engaged through secondary education. Local school officials also participated in the ceremony, which included poetry recitals by younger pupils.
