Authorities in the state of Puebla captured a 45‑year‑old man identified as Santos N. as the first suspect in a massacre that left ten family members dead in the community of Texacalapa, Tehuitzingo. The arrest follows an investigation that began after residents discovered multiple bodies on May 16.

In the state of Morelos, police conducted a raid on a house in the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río neighborhood of Temixco, detaining a 29‑year‑old man and an 18‑year‑old woman suspected of distributing crystal methamphetamine. Seized items included crystalline material and a scale, which were sent to the regional prosecutor’s office for analysis.
