Mexican police seize crystal meth in arrests in Chihuahua and Torreón

On May 10, agents of the State Investigation Agency and municipal police in Chihuahua detained three men – Alejandro T.G., 32; Fernando A.V.J., 28; and Everardo C.C., 38 – after finding 15 small bags containing approximately 19.8 g of crystal meth, four cell phones and a red 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV at the intersection of Ch‑P road and Calle 62ª in the Cerro de la Cruz neighborhood. The suspects were placed in the custody of the public prosecutor's specialized narcotics unit.

A month later, on the night of June 10, police from the Reacción Group in Torreón stopped a 29‑year‑old man, José Enrique, in the Sol de Oriente colonia after observing suspicious behavior. A body search uncovered a transparent plastic bag with a granulated substance identified as crystal meth. The man was accompanied by a 16‑year‑old girl, who was taken into protective custody with the minors’ department. Both the suspect and the seized drug were transferred to the Ministry of Public Prosecutor for investigation.
