Six Los Deltas members arrested in Zapopan, Jalisco
On July 26, 2026 federal authorities carried out three simultaneous raids in Zapopan, Jalisco, targeting properties linked to the Los Deltas cell, the armed wing of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). The operation was led by the Secretaría de Marina together with the Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana and the Fiscalía General de la República, with support from the state government.
Six suspects were detained, including a minor. Security forces seized ten long‑barreled firearms, three short guns, assorted ammunition, synthetic drug doses, cash, tactical equipment, four motorcycles and two vehicles. All seized material and the detainees were placed under the custody of the Federal Public Ministry for further investigation.
