Mexican universities inaugurate new art facilities and murals
Mexican universities have inaugurated new facilities and artistic works to support student development. At the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez opened the Arpa4 building. This two-story facility is designed to enhance academic and artistic activities for the Faculty of Plastic and Audiovisual Arts (ARPA) and may also serve students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
In Ensenada, the University of Baja California (UABC) Faculty of Arts unveiled a new mural on one of its building facades. Created through a collective effort by students and administrative staff, the artwork depicts a 'cimarrón' surrounded by regional flora, using earthy tones to reflect the local landscape and university identity. UABC Rector Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre attended the inauguration to recognize the collaborative work of the university community.
