In Yucatán, Mexico, the state government held a three‑day workshop (June 26‑28) for 28 paramedics from the regional emergency medical regulator, the Mexican Red Cross and IMSS‑Bienestar. Participants refreshed skills in defensive driving, safe use of sirens, scene safety, basic pre‑hospital care and professional ethics to improve ambulance operations and patient safety.

In Paraná, Argentina, municipal authorities launched an intensive training program for staff of Obras Sanitarias, focusing on the operation, control and maintenance of the city’s potable‑water treatment plants and electro‑fusion systems. The week‑long course, organized with the national sanitation workers’ federation and local union, aimed to update technical knowledge and enhance service quality for the community.
