In Mexico, authorities arrested a woman accused of a violent home robbery in Rioverde and disrupted three virtual kidnapping attempts in Tehuacán. Ecuadorian police seized 9,740 doses of marijuana in Sucumbíos and arrested nine extortioners who operated from prisons in Guayaquil and nearby cantons. Colombian police captured a young woman linked to the Clan del Golfo’s extortion network in Fundación. Additional actions included the recapture of a prison escapee in Haiti, a large‑scale anti‑extortion sweep in Guatemala, and the seizure of weapons and cash in various operations across the region.
