Mexico authorities activate multiple Amber Alerts for missing persons
Authorities across various Mexican states have activated Amber Alerts and Alba Protocols to locate several missing individuals, primarily adolescents.
In Guerrero, a search is underway for 16-year-old Naomi Yoleth Reyes López, who was last seen in Iguala on August 13. In Chihuahua, 16-year-old Sandra Yulissa Espino Loya has been missing from Chihuahua City since August 23. Meanwhile, in Quintana Roo, authorities are searching for 26-year-old Daniela Gisel Chan Chimal and her 5-year-old daughter, Katherine Ameli Caamal Chan, who disappeared from Kantunilkín on August 22.
In the State of Mexico, a 15-year-old, Gabriela Nahomi Vázquez Villalva, was reported missing from Ecatepec on August 24.
Regarding successful localizations, a 14-year-old boy named Leonel Miguel “N”, who had been missing from Ecatepec since June, was found safe near the IMSS-Bienestar Hospital in Río Blanco, Veracruz. Security forces and medical personnel coordinated his recovery and health assessment.
